I have been involved in real estate in the Houston area since 2005, both as a Realtor and New Home Sales Rep for a prominent Texas builder. 

Working for a new home builder gave me important skills in recognizing quality construction materials and workmanship, as well  as realizing the importance of warranties and customer service after the sale. 

When I work with a client that purchases "dirt" (building a home from the ground up),  I get involved with the project manager through each phase of construction to ensure the home is built on-time, and that all features and upgrades are included.

Also, providing my employer with monthly competition studies made me very knowledgeable about the similarities and differences between the various new home builders in the Houston marketplace.

I can provide valuable advice in negotiating the price of your home, having been on both sides of buyer/builder negotiations.  I know which upgrades builders are more likely to give away in order to seal the deal.

Existing Home Sales

Not everyone is interested in purchasing a brand new home, and that gives me the opportunity to assist my clients in finding a property in more established neighborhoods. 

Purchasing in established neighborhoods usually gives home buyers a lower tax rate, a more developed community infrastructure, and a mature landscape.  Other considerations typically include a desirable school district and proximity to employment.

As a relocator to Houston myself, I spent a great deal of time researching and visiting different communities throughout the Greater Houston Area.  Let me pass that experience along to you.

Additional Properties

I have recently expanded my business to assist buyers in locating second, vacation or investment properties in the Houston area, other states, or outside of the US.  Clearly the trend is to buy abroad
since it is much less expensive to purchase desirable properties in developed or developing countries at a fraction of U.S. prices.  (Mexico and Central America are prime examples.)
