Norman J. Van Holtz hails from upstate New York originally and settled in Texas in July 1995. Mr. Van Holtz joined the United States Marines in 1988 following his high school graduation and currently owns Nationwide Mortgage Wholesale.
While stationed California in 1991, Mr. Van Holtz served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps. It was at this time he started his training as a loan officer to help supplement his income while in the military. When he was discharged in 1994, he had experienced so much in the mortgage business that he decided to stay in the field and to continue to learn the best ways to assist buyers in realizing their dream of owning a home because he enjoyed it so much.
Later, he took his talents to the V.A. regional office for several years--working in Claims and then in the Foreclosure Department as Manager. He went on to work for Litton Loan Servicing as a Manager in Loan Set Up to broaden his skill base by leaning the loan set-up and servicing acquisition side of mortgages. Next, he moved on to work for C-BASS on Madison Avenue in N.Y., where he worked as a Senior Manager of the security acquisition mortgage division.
Mr. Van Holtz has worked as a mortgage consultant for 16 plus years and currently owns the branch called Nationwide Mortgage Wholesale at 3824 Atascocita Road, Suite 130 Humble, Texas 77396.
